Art Of Looking Beautiful PDF Print E-mail
Want to make yourself look more attractive and do a eye-catching makeup? You should first study the shape and proportion of your face and features. Let’s make it simple for you to find out your face type.

There are four basic facial types:

  • Oval
  • Round
  • Long
  • Square.
Know exactly where you fit in

Round - Round shaped faces are fuller than other shapes. They are not defied properly. You will not get a clue of cheekbone.

Long - Long faces are usually narrow with a long jaw.

Square - Square faces are more horizontal than diagonal. People with square face have broad or high forehead; equal width at temples and jaw.

Oval - Oval faces are well-balanced from top to bottom. Cheekbones are clearly defined with diagonal jawline.

Make Your Round Face Look Longer And Slimmer

The concentration of eye shadow should be kept between the inner corner and the center of your eye. Blend out and up toward the outer edges of your forehead. Brush on blush in a diagonal line, from under your cheekbone up to the tip of your ear.
Wear hair softly feathered at sides and brushed forward onto cheeks.

Make Your Square Face Look Rounder And Softer

Apply eye shadow from middle of eye to far outer corner and blend it toward forehead corners. Apply blush in a soft arc, from middle of cheekbone around and up into hairline. Brows should be kept naturally arched. Wear hair full, in a chin-length bob and curled under. Use darker lip shades to bring attention to the center of your face.

Eye Catching Make Up Tips

Always apply sun scream whenever you move outdoor. Also use make up pencils. Remember the sharper (note: as opposed to rounded) the point, the easier to work with and the more precise the line.

Do not ever forget to carry a duplicate make up kit with you whenever you go out. This will help you do touch-ups which will match your make up.

When applying mascara to bottom lashes, hold a tissue under the eye for a no-smudge finish.

While applying a liquid eye liner  tilt your head back slightly, hold your eye half-open, then smooth the lid slightly, gently, and run brush as close as possible to lashline.

If you are a person who also likes to apply an eyebrow pencil, then stroke the pencil against the bristles of your brow brush; then brush color directly on hairs to fill in for a natural effect.

Sweep translucent powder under eye before applying shadow to lid; then easily brush off fallen color particles
