Pain is overrated term associated with weight loss. Most overweight people consider losing weight a torture and they never attempt for the sole reason. However, if you know what effects your weight, you can control it. It is quite possible you already know the answer. Yes, food effects your body the most. If you are smart in choosing your diet, you can control your weight to quite an effect and you won’t have to go through the so-called weight loss torture programs.

1. Be Smart

Losing weight is all about eating right but it hasn’t to be tough for you. Well, at least for beginners. Be smart means plan out your diet in such a manner that doesn’t make your feel like you are forced. Plan out meals with food that you like but do not harm your body. Divide food items based on their nutrients such as protein, carbohydrate, essential fats, and fibre.

2. Create Schedule

Create chart and stick it on your refrigerator. Make sure your diet plan has 4-6 meals that includes three major meals and two-three small meals. Eating on time is also necessary so stick to it. If you are planning to work out to accompany with your diet, make sure you design the schedule around it. Your schedule must follow something like this:

  1. Breakfast
  2. Small snack
  3. Lunch
  4. Small snack
  5. Dinner

3. Measure The Portions

Amount of food you eat should be tracked. Make sure you know how much calories you have consumed. Limit your calorie intake. To measure the portion of your food, divide your meal into three portions carbohydrate, protein and fat. Protein food must be equal to the size of your fist, and keep other two portion half of it. Snack potions should be taken in the form small bits such as nutrition bars, nuts or fruits. Make sure you do not overeat.

4. Increase The Protein Intake

Protein is necessary for your body to build muscle. You do not have to imagine yourself to have body like a professional fitness model. However, fastest way to burn fat is to replace it with muscles. Eat white meat like chicken or pork. You can also eat beef but the fat content is higher than white meat so it is better to avoid it. Fish and eggs are another great source of protein. For vegans, you can include pulses in your diet.

5. Focus On Fluids

Fluids are great as they are digested easily and also the most effective way to take important nutrients. First fluid you should focus on is water. Drink at least 4-5 liters of water every day. Protein shakes are another great way to replace your meals if you don’t have enough time for preparing food. Prepare different kinds of protein shakes and juices in the morning and store it in the refrigerator or take them to your office. It is great way to save time and stay on your schedule.

These five tips will take you a step closer to your goal to lose weight. Make sure you make these schedule your ritual so that never ever again in your life you would have to use your EHIC card for your weight problems.
