Question: In the past couple of years I’ve noticed that my face has been more vulnerable to the aging process with deep expression lines on my forehead and around my mouth. I would like to try an effective anti-wrinkle cream to help make them less noticeable. I am not at all interested in Botox or any other invasive procedure. I recently saw an ad for DermaFreeze365 wrinkle cream and I’m seriously considering giving it a try. Any information you can give me about DermaFreeze365 or anti-wrinkle products in general would be much appreciated.

DERMacai

Answer: Any skin care anti-aging cream that promises an ‘instant’ face lift or results in seconds likely contains very astringent ingredients that will only temporarily tighten the skin. To really deal with the problems associated with aging skin such as wrinkles, uneven skin tone and fine lines, a cream needs to use ingredients that work over time to increase collagen production and improve the elasticity in the skin.

DERMacai does contain some proven patented ingredients such as Matrixyl 3000 and Haloxyl, plus it contains acai berry which is known to be a powerful anti-oxidant. Sometimes called ‘superfoods’ these are substances that have the ability to fight damaging free-radicals in the body and slow the affects of aging. Unfortunately although many products claim to contain such ingredients (pomegranate and green tea are also popular), DERMacai does not provide ingredient amounts, so it is impossible to know exactly how effective it would be.

If you do shop for an anti-wrinkle product in a health store, pharmacy or on the Internet, you’ll often find hundreds of different brands containing a confusing array of ingredients. You may be tempted to experiment with different products until you find one that works. But this approach may be expensive. More importantly, not all products contain the quality and quantity of necessary ingredients to positively promote long-term improvements on the appearance of wrinkles and an overall healthy complexion. That’s why you’ll need to do a little bit of research to find the best, most potent brand for your needs.
