Question: I have just turned the big 4-0 and I’ve noticed that my face has gotten a few deep wrinkles around my eyes and lips. I have a few frown lines on my forehead too. I am looking at adding a wrinkle cream to my regimen. I don’t want Botox or any other invasive procedure. I read about Dermitage and I’m considering giving it a try. Can you give me some info about Dermitage? Are there any other wrinkle products worth the money?

Answer: Wrinkles are a natural progression in the aging process. As we age, the layer of skin called the dermis, begins to thin. The elastin and collagen, two components very important in supporting the dermis, becomes looser and starts to slacken. This is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Skin also loses its elasticity as we become older and it becomes dehydrated and loses the natural moisture. These factors all contribute to the development of wrinkles.

Dermitage is a two-step skin treatment process designed to actively stimulate new collagen-an instant lifting cream, and a longer term skin moisturizing and renewal cream. The products within Dermitage complete line of anti-wrinkle applications contain several accepted wrinkle reducing and skin appearance enhancing ingredients, but without knowledge of the concentrations of those active ingredients, their level of effectiveness is unclear. Due to the advancement of science and technology, anti-wrinkle products like Dermitage are becoming increasingly popular. BUT, the products you use daily have a HUGE impact on the way your face will age.

If you do shop for an anti-wrinkle product in a health store, pharmacy or on the Internet, you’ll often find hundreds of different brands containing a confusing array of ingredients. You may be tempted to experiment with different products until you find one that works. But this approach may be expensive. More importantly, not all products contain the quality and quantity of necessary ingredients to positively promote long-term improvements on the appearance of wrinkles and an overall healthy complexion. That’s why you’ll need to do a little bit of research to find the best, most potent brand for your needs.
