There are a lot of ways anxiety can manifest in a person depending on the situation that they are in. A common reason why people get anxiety is when they are faced with fear. This fear can go from having to do an exam, fear of sickness, and having to face something dangerous. Some would say that this condition also occurs when people are under extreme pressure.

Kinds of Anxiety Disorders

In the UK, there are a lot of people who are affected by anxiety disorders. Unfortunately, anxiety disorders can affect daily activities, which a lot of people find very troublesome. Keep in mind that anxiety is known to be a mental condition that is related to depression.

Types of Anxiety Disorders

Phobia
This is a condition where people fear something and blow it out of proportion when there is nothing to be afraid of. These can come in different forms for different people such as fear of heights, water, spiders, blood, and other things related to it.

Panic Disorders
Also known as panic attacks, this condition can happen to anyone and anywhere. It is usually associated with a certain trigger, which can vary from one person to another. For some it can last for 5 minutes, but for others a little longer.

Obsessive-Compulsive
People who suffer from OCD will find that they get anxious when they get irritated about certain things. This is about the time when they need to correct whatever it is that triggers this disorder, and wont stop until they feel they have corrected it.

Post-Traumatic Stress
This is common to people who experienced unwanted situations in their life and fear it might happen again. Other things that can trigger this are thoughts of this traumatic experience for a person to manifest an anxiety attack. Most of the time, people enter into a panic phase when they have vivid visions of these traumatic images and thoughts.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Those that find themselves worrying about anything most of the time suffer from this condition. Because this disorder, panic attacks are common, which should be treated as soon as possible. They can be triggered by any type of phobia or traumatic experiences.
